I recently stayed at a lovely casa rural in Mojacar's old town and had a fantastic experience. The seaviews from the property were breathtaking, and it was conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, parking, and shops. The couple who run the place were incredibly kind, and the breakfast they served on the terrace was absolutely wonderful. It was an extended version of the Spanish breakfast, featuring delicious coffee, madalenas, cheese, olives, chorizo. The hosts, who are Brits, provided great tips for exploring the area and made my stay even better.
Would recommend this hotel.

During our stay at Pension El Torreon, we had a wonderful experience as a family of 6. The rooms were great, offering stunning views of the surroundings. We were greeted with a warm cup of coffee and a delightful milky English tea, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of our stay was going on a boat trip with the hotel manager, who showed us the beautiful coastline of Mojacar. The manager, Fredrico, prepared a delicious local fish dinner for us, explaining that he had bought the fresh salmon from local fishermen that morning. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that Mojacar's coastline had such a diverse range of fish. For those who preferred steak, Fredrico also cooked the finest cut of Argentinian beef to perfection. The meal was served on hot plates, ensuring the food remained hot and fresh. We were impressed by the attentive and friendly service provided by our private waiters, who catered to our every need. The addition of muscles, cockles, and small fish, accompanied by a fine local wine, made our dining experience truly fantastic. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The stunning views during dinner and breakfast added to the overall enjoyment of our stay at Pension El Torreon. I highly recommend this hotel for its great local fish, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and breathtaking views.

Oh, the joy of freezing at night as I cuddled with my non-working heater. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Stunning Views: The highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking views from the balcony. Sitting there, sipping our morning coffee, we felt like we were on top of the world. It was like having a front-row seat to a picturesque village or a mesmerizing oceanic landscape.
Lost key incident.

Amazing view! The hilltop location offered breathtaking sea views. Loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying breakfast with such a stunning backdrop. The owner was incredibly kind and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beautiful beach just a few kilometers away. Walking around the town was a delight, with its charming streets and interesting atmosphere.
The place could use some updating. The bathrooms and toilets were a bit old and could have been cleaner.

The rooms had jaw-dropping views and were so cozy. The manager took us on a boat trip, which was super fun. The dinner, especially the steak, was mind-blowing, and the waiters were attentive. The breakfast had a wide variety and the views were amazing. The atmosphere had an old world charm. Frederico, the host, was incredibly helpful and charming. The terrace had the most beautiful views, and the location was convenient with a nearby supermarket. It was a breath of fresh air and a fantastic experience overall.

The rooms at Pension El Torreon are simply decorated and have a cozy feel to them. I loved the pastel-colored finishes and the tiled floors. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great perk for someone like me who needs to stay connected while traveling. I particularly enjoyed the balcony with sea views in some of the rooms. It was a nice spot to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.
Personally, I would have liked a private bathroom instead of a shared one, but I understand that others may not mind.

The rooms at Pension El Torreon were simply decorated, but cozy and inviting. The pastel-colored finishes and tiled floors gave them a charming and laid-back vibe. The three single beds were comfortable, and the fan and reading lights added a nice touch for a relaxed evening. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a bonus for staying connected with friends.
I personally would have loved if all the rooms had a balcony with sea views, but hey, it's just my preference!

The surrounding streets have a nice variety of restaurants and bars, although I wouldn't recommend eating there. Good luck finding heating! Free WiFi is a great way to distract yourself from the lack of amenities. The view is the only thing worth staying for.
Who needs heating when you can freeze to death? The floors were so dirty, I could write my name in the dust.

The balcony with uninterrupted sea views was absolutely breathtaking. The bed was so comfortable, and the host, Frederico, was incredibly helpful and full of interesting information. The breakfast on the terrace was outstanding, and the location was perfect for exploring. The traditional Andalucian moorish house had so much history and charm. The shared bathroom and toilets were never an issue, and having a sink in the bedroom was a great convenience. The simple kitchen was perfect for preparing cold food, and going out of season made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The atmosphere and ambiance of this casa rural were truly mind-blowing. The building itself, over 100 years old, was beautifully preserved, and the balcony overlooking the town and ocean was jaw-dropping. The breakfast was not included, but it was definitely worth every penny. The couple running the place were lovely, and the breakfast terrace had stunning views. a super memorable stay with excellent service and unforgettable views.
